Trail Rides
SEAHA has at least one Trail Ride a month. Rides vary in length and
difficulty and are published each month in our newsletter the "Equine News" and on our
Calendar page.
We also love to horse camp. The camping can range
from improved campgrounds with showers to middle-of-nowhere/rugged terrain.
All of our Rides go to some spectacular places you just don't see from
the Interstate! See our
Trail Rides page for upcoming rides. Okay, let's ride!

Poker Ride
We
also have an annual Poker Ride. The entry fee includes a guided
trail ride, a catered dinner, and one poker hand. Additional hands
can be purchased too. This year there will be cash prizes with
Best Hand $500 and Second Best Hand $250! Minimum $1,000 in cash
prizes! Click here for the entry form SEAHA Poker Ride 2008!

Working Ranch Horse
You could describe the Working Ranch Horse (WRH) competition
as a trail class on steroids.
Like the traditional horseshow trail class, this competition takes place in an arena
but unlike the trail classes, the WRH includes more
"realistic" obstacles like trailer loading, working cattle, and negotiating
water.
Event dates can be found on our Calendar page.

Shindig
The "Shindig" is SEAHA's annual catered party to honor and
recognize those people who have achieved high points in their
prospective events and to thank all the hardworking volunteers.
It's a great time to socialize with fellow equestrian friends.
It's a party not to miss.
